It's a Hensen M30 (or an M70 - they both looked the same)

Perhaps you are looking for Hensen Automotive Hensen M30?

It was just generally know as the Hensen M30 at the time (in production 1982-1990).
Milford Haven (Wales)-based Hugo Hensen was the first person to design a kit based around Ford Granada parts.  Despite its rather bluff appearance it was quite an accomplished car.  The hefty chassis/roll-cage was tremendously strong and the fire-retardant glassfibre body was foam-filled and extremely thick.  The interior was thoughtfully executed, with 2+2 seating plus trim and a moulded dash.

The M70 looked the same but had a chassis engineered to take V8 engines up to 7.5 litres!

Eventually the project passed to Eagle Cars, who failed to sell even one more car...

Maybe you're expecting it to be spelled 'Henson' but whilst it does appear with that spelling on quite a few websites I believe the correct spelling is 'Hensen'.

Is that what you are thinking of?!

Okay you might me right!  :D
Unfortunately I haven't wasted my time browsing the whole web to check if the name 'Jenson' is correct.
I rarely do on ghastly cars like that...

Anyway a well deserved point! :)

This is definately a 'Hensen' and was not a 'Jenson.'  I have spoken to the guy that designed and built these horrors in the 1980s, and he has a very unsavoury but amusing story about how he managed to once make love in the boot/trunk of one of these!  You would have thought the ugly looks of the car would have put him off such things!  :P

But I think it has a strange butch appeal!
Or maybe I'm just visually challenged...

OK, sorry.
It was just a link to the Hensen Owners' Club (only a 2-page affair!) showing the correct spelling and the fact that it was only called Hensen M30 or Hensen M70!

You can get there by Googling it of course...
