Cegga Ferrari.

Made by the Gachnang Brothers, by mating a Cooper Chassis, and a Ferrari V12 ( and Abarth wheels, by the looks of it ) with beautifull bodywork.

Yes, and it's no coincidence that it was named "P4".

Yes.

But I've only seen the "P4" in parenticies, like that.

I believe the body was by Drogo.

I have found a small shot of the page about Cegga cars in my archive taken from a known French motorsports forum. It is part of the article from 1967 L'Automobile, and there the car is identified as Cegga Type P4, without any parenticies.

I think I probably might have misunderstood the meaning of the word 'parenticies'. I supposed it was a synonim to 'quotes'. My dictionary is helpless here  :(

What I mean is that yet in 1967 the car has been already known as Cegga P4, and it is not a nickname as far as I can judge, but the car's given name. Here is a picture I spoke about.

I think what happened there, is that I simply used the wrong word.

Sorry about that...

Perhaps the word you were looking for was 'parentheses'?!
