That's strange. Since when did GT not mean for example Grand Touring?

Just wondering - I would have been very surprised if I had been studhamsmudger.

Quite similar, but not the same: GT often means "Gran Turismo", but the car is definetley called Grand Touring!

Well, GT means Gran Turismo in Italian cars, Grand Touring in British, Grand Tourer in French etc.
It's not denial, I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

That's true, but in terms of my sources the car is mentioned as "Grand Touring" and not shortened "GT". If it would have named "de Bruyne GT" I hadn't called for the meaning of these two characters. Note that the mid-engined de Bruyne was also called "Grand Sport" and not only "GS"

I must admit it's the first time I've seen this car refferd to as more than simply the "De Bruyne".

Just discovered that the de Bruyne is currently being offered for sale in Wales.  Here are a couple of photos of how its looks now.

Just how dare anyone tinker with a Giugiaro masterpiece?
Did they really think they could improve it?!

Very sad but true.  Interesting photos though as I had never seen a good shot of the rear end (and now wish I hadn't!).

Yes, I had always wondered what it looked like too.  I hadn't realised just how much they had changed it; I thought it was almost exactly the same with only very minor detail changes.

I spied that on ebay the other day but I didn't realise it was the only one made... Still, probably end up cheaper than a G-K
