I have a feeling this will end up in the black hole. But for now, let's see what our experts have to say about this one.

Hi Pal, Happy New Year!  Is it a Hustler, made in the USA?
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

Hi, Happy new Year to you as well!

It from the USA and it may be a Hustler as my source did not give a name for this car, but can you tell me which company built this and why was it so special?

Anderson Power Products, electric prototype "islander".

electric prototype for sure, but this is not the name I have for the company which created it. Can you prove your claim?

Gimme 2 minutes...
(was AVIS the name you have?)
These cames from the Anderson Power Products brochures: in the 3rd pic there is the puzzle-car togheter with the other APP car:
Transportation System Laboratory is another name in that brochure.

Transport System Laboratory was a division of Anderson Power Products Inc.
These pics cames from an article about AVIS's interests in Anderson studies, and here is what it seems to be the same car under construction at the APP, where is called 'resort vehicle'.
