It's the Buckler Galt. And that's all I can find, apart from the registration probably being WMX760. The site which might contain details has been closed.

Just reviewing my scant details again, it may be a mk XV, which was the A-Series engined car (note the A35 grille on the photo)

The Buckler entry in Wiki says the MkX was 1172 Ford powered and a closed coupe. The OP says this wasn't a Ford motor. As we all know, Wiki is faultless  :lmao:

Interesting. I don't think 'Buckler-Galt' should be the correct name of this car. The body was called 'Galt-Glass' and it was manufactured by Durasteel. Probably one of the earliest UK GRP bodies, of course it is based on a Buckler chassis. It's not, according of the period material I have, Ford Popular-based (the Engine is from a Prefect, but it's not Ford-based, it's Buckler-based!)

Feel free to merge with Carnut's puzzle but please add 'Galt-Glass' and 'Durasteel' to the topic title  ;)
