I'm pretty sure (always a bad sign) that this is a Toyota MR2 conversion conjured up by a firm called Ride Cars. It was meant to ape the look of the customised Mustang 'Eleanor' from the rubbish Nicolas Cage remake of Gone in 60 Seconds. It was called, if I remember correctly, the GT350 or possibly GTR350. This was in 2007 - I think.

Some extra info:

this model (the only one from this company) has been manufactured by RIDEcars (Hinckley, Leicestershire) from ~2005 to ~2007, but was acquired by MR2Kits from Gloucestershire and was known under GTR name. It appears the latter company doesn't sell this model anymore since their catalogue includes GTA, GTB, GTF - replicas of Ferrari F360, F355 and F430 respectively - and GTD. The GT350/GTR has been designed by Jeff Ashton who has also created appearance of Avelle and MNR Tytan. RIDEcars intended to offer fully-built examples from £12,000.

I remember seeing this one at Stoneleigh a few years ago - it is even uglier in real life than in the pictures.

Looked especially bad as it was sandwiched between Ultima and Tiger (who were showing an ERA 30, and a ali bodied ZR6)

Don't think it is still available though....
