I'm flabbergasted. I thought this one would go in the Rookie round.

I think it is a Studebaker New Lark aborted project styling model by the designer Bob Doehler in early sixties.

That's the car!

In 1971, Doehler wrote:

"In the period following the scrapping of all new sheetmetal for the 1962 program, Studebaker Styling was in another of those all-too-frequent periods of indecision. Having nothing particular to do, I asked Randy Faurot if I could build a model of my idea of a small car on a 100-inch wheelbase. He readily consented, as it gave him one less man to make work for. So I went across the street (where most of the tools I needed were) and came up with this model. This was early in 1961. If the superstructure appears a little high, it's because the model was built to a headroom and seating package considerably more generous than they get by with today on the somewhat comparable Pinto and Vega."
