It's a Morgan cyclecar from Germany. Made in Berlin, 1924-1925. Powered by a 500 cc two-cylinder engine

Never would I have linked those two pictures to be the same car.

Sometimes this seems to be a kind of technical archeology

It is the same car. Kubisch has that drawing in his book as the Morgan illustration.

So were there two body types?

- one with a pre war DKW or Weymann style with a wooden substructure and a faux leather surface (the puzzle car)
- and the second with a plywood body (the last photo)
