Having nothing particular to do, I asked Randy Faurot if I could build a model of my idea of a small car on a 100-inch wheelbase. He readily consented, as it gave him one less man to make work for. So I went across the street (where most of the tools I needed were) and came up with this model. This was early in 1961. If the superstructure appears a little high, it's because the model was built to a headroom and seating package considerably more generous than they get by with today on the somewhat comparable Pinto and Vega."
