maybe you know in what collection this Pope Hartford has been located in the early fifties, when this photo was made.

The one guy I can think of with a huge auto collection in the early 1950s is Henry Austin Clark...if it's not him, I think I'll have to open the floor again, because I can find out very little about this car. I'm guessing it's a 1910-1912 model, but the #8 doesn't match any of the Vanderbilt Cup cars' numbers.

When this photograph has been made in the second half of the 1950´s this Pop-Hartford belonged to a collection of a califorian guy.
