I believe it's American...
Is this pic available on the net or in a magazine? (or both?)

Hmmm...it seems to came from a ...popular magazine, but I think I saw them all till the 80s and this car looks definetly younger...is it from the 70s ?

Whait a minute...is this a vehicle for training new pilots? It can't be road-legal!

1970's ? Those very famous wheelcovers were in favor much earlier. You must have missed one.

I don't know if it was road legal or not. All I know is that it wasn't initially build for road use. No "training" vehicle, but one of the builders was indeed a pilot.

I meant the article, sorry.
So the article is from the same age than the car, from a popular, american magazine, available also on-line.
Let's start from the wheelcovers, then: 1956?
They should be from an 1954-56 Olds...

I knew you meant the article, as your wheelcover knowledge is obvious. Those Olds "spinner" wheelcovers (correct period) aren't mentioned in the article, though. You'd better start elsewhere.

I'd say for men using their tools.

No, but 1957 would be (my "correct period" comment concerned only the wheelcovers).
