Who can identify this car, which is not what it seems. A point could be yours.

You don't have. It can't be. Because it never did Formula 1. It just got the paint scheme of that car.

No, I believe it has had a very active life before I took that picture. Later the same day it was racing.
I'll give a clue. It was racing in the Phoenix Park.

It's a Reynard, yes. I believe the engine is a 3.8 yes. But the name of the car is not complete yet.

Reynard 92D
I'd call that solved.

It is Dan Daly's ex-F3000 Reynard 92D with a Holden 3.8l V6.

I guessed so much :).
Mr. Daly has done an outstanding job that people did seem to think it actually is a Formula 1 car.

Maybe I'm wrong but thousands of pictures in books and in the internet says that Nigell Mansell run this car for two years, run 185 races in two years and won 1992 Formula 1 Championship. Sorry!

Obviously, if this car would've been the championship winning F1 car of Mansell it would notbe running in the Phoenix Park, which is not exactly suited for F1 cars of the last 40 years, as the ground clearance is 25 mm at least to go around the track. Besides that, there are noticable differences in the Labott stickers, the number of the car. Besides, I took the picture myself. I know what car it is, because I asked.

Yes I know what it looks like. Look. it's solved, I made the puzzle and I asked the lads myself. See, the picture you shows bears a different number, a slightly different livery, the front wing is different the tyres are different, etc. etc.
