i suppose it could have, but doubtful. It more of a tongue-in-cheek paean to NASCAR.

Last clue on this one - I suspect you are all trying to hard, over-thinking, and overlooking an exceedingly simple route to the solution to this last pairing.

Found it at last!

I didn't miss Otto's clue in the preamble, the one that said "The answers are all available to the general public (except maybe in China)", and guessed that Youtube would provide at least one of the answers.

So Song #7 is "NASCAR Song", or alternatively called "Race Car Song", and Artist #10 is Shinji Hamada.

Check out the video on Youtube. It's, err, well decide for yourself. ;D

wow! I was wondering why my puzzle points had jumped up to 484!

But it should rather be 483, Otto, and Tom_I should have another: it's him, not me, who connected Johnny Fortune and "Dragster".

May I add "Great job by the poster of this puzzle"? Doing my bit with group puzzles too, I know it sometimes represents a lot of work.
