Title: I.D. This Vehicle #1 - Solved! Dannenhauer & Stauss
Post by: AirCooledRules on February 10, 2007, 11:31:41 PM: This is my first try at this, i just registered last night and i have not been able to I.D. anything yet so i thought i would see how good you guys are.

Fahrzenheitzung ! Now that I think of it, my old man had THREE of these, but they were converted to look like Pontiacs of the era. :-\

Yes, that's it.
The car pictured is from 1953, by which time various changes to the original early 50s design had taken place, including the substitution of the split screen for a one piece version.

It was probably reposted because in the old puzzle is a typo in the headline, it must be Stauss instead of Strauss.
