Good luck!

Right hand drive, Ford grille, unfamiliar number plate, so must be a Commonwealth country.   Imagining that the script says Montego, so how about Jamaica?

Very good reasoning, but it's not Jamaican.

I highly doubt he's known for anything other than this car, and I don't think he's known for that either because it was so unpopular.

It should be an MG based car, shouldn't it?

Again, I'm not with my records at the moment, but I'm fairly certain in saying that this has nothing to do with MG.

To stop the incessant crying out for more information, I shall yield.   ;D

Engine and transmission were borrowed from a conventional 1952 Ford sedan, the complete car bought second hand circa 1956 and the new owner was told nothing more than that it was built in Queensland.

All I'm after to solve this one is the name on the car, because that's all I know too.

Only location I've seen it was in a single issue of a single magazine, where it was potentially sent in by a reader. (All my magazines are in boxes and not in my possession currently, so I can't verify it)

I've found no web link, but that could be because the name is a fairly standard word, shared by a large number of descriptions and companies, including a dairy product company. (<-------- Thinly veiled HINT!!!)

You're leaving out the country of origin as a clue with that answer.

Tatura?
Remember that the name is also a geographical description as well as a large Australasian dairy product company that I've just noticed has also expanded into the US.

Tatura fits all these descriptions: it is a village and an Australasian dairy product company.

Another candidate would be Fonterra

Tatura as a location sure, but you wouldn't describe something geographical as 'the tatura'. Neither is is Fonterra.
The geographical hint refers not to a location, but a term used in geographical descriptions, a lot.

Also remember to look at the badge... there's your first letter straight away....
