Well, I don't know how easy it is, but let's give it a shot. There is a lot of MG cues from the scuttle back and a lot of what appears to be either Bentley or Lagonda up front. Am I anywhere in the ballpark?

Looks to me like an Aston, late '20's or early's '30's.

It is a Rover, but not a Speed model. You've got a lock though for 24 hours to find out its correct model name

I've found a couple of web pages which describe this car as a Rover Meteor 20 of 1927.

But I'm not sure this is entirely correct. I'm not a Rover expert, but I didn't think the Meteor name was in use as early as 1927. Most sources seem to list the Meteor 16 and 20 hp models as current from 1930 to 1934. I haven't managed to find any more details about this particular car.

Correct. I also have it as 1927, but it is probably a typo and it is from around 1932.
