A very well-know driver. This car was not too powerful. In fact, he never though he had too much power.

And the name of the car is not even obscured, for cryin' out loud.

Another detail found in the same source that seems to fit with the picture.
"He is wearing a 'bubble shield' on his helmet and one of the problems he encountered during the race was the alcohol fumes getting up under the shield... "
