Could this be a late 1930s Humber Snipe?

The wheels look right, and there's a dangerous-looking pointed mascot on the front that would also fit.

I think it must be a Vauxhall Big Six cabriolet of the period 1934-1936.
The other large Vauxhall - the 25 - featured steel wheels not wires.
The body is very similar to that of the Barker-bodied Daimler I mentioned earlier.
