I have this in a book as a "1915 Calthorpe 10hp sporting two-seater." But frankly, from what I've seen of Calthorpes in pics online, I have to question whether the photo is captioned wrong.

I have it ID'd as a Calthorpe, as well, but from a later year. The hood (or bonnet) of this car is consistent with the design of Calthorpe cars of this later vintage.

In other words, make is correct but you still need the right year & model?

Year doesn't matter. Model designation would do the trick.

Is the year 1920 or later?

And if not 10/15, is the model name in that number-slash-number format?

BTW, I just came across the same picture in a different book, still identified as a "1915" and with a model name I doubt is correct ("Minor Sports," I think it said).

I have it listed as a Calthorpe Minor, as well. I'll award you the point, unless you insist it is another vehicle.

Perhaps I shouldn't post in an Expert thread, but here's a bit of supporting information:
Georgano has that photo captioned as a 1915 10 h.p. sporting two-seater in the first and third editions. The photo is credited to David Burgess-Wise, so perhaps it's his caption. Since the text (by Tim Nicholson (more reliable!)) tells us that the 10 h.p. Calthorpe Minor ran from 1913-1915, it seems as if 10 h.p. and Minor would both be correct.
