I think it is the Elva MK IV T-type with 1800cc MGB engine with turbocharger from Minnow-Fish?
But it seems to be the Cougar 3000. My source is a bit vague...

Yes!  You seemed to change your original post after I had agreed it was the 3000 Cougar?!
Anyway, it's another point.

I guess those are VW rear-lights, but might have been fitted later as they look a bit out of place!
On the other hand they have the right slope so that the lights themselves are vertical, which may be why they were chosen...

I recognized the Elva myself and started looking on the net and found a source that was not really clear (concerning the image descriptions)
