Not Bodycraft or Crayford.

it is a bit more recent than it might suggest.

Darn it!  I saw this car at the NEC Classic Car Show a couple of weeks ago but didn't pay it very much attention, despite taking a quick photo of it too!  So, no idea who converted it to a 6-door stretch limo. :-\
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

It was made by Lester Smout and won the Best Modified prize at the 2010 Cortina National Rally. Is it enough  ???
It's not denial, I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

I think that answers the question....

From the details on the window of the car.

291 FOO

1963 Ford Cortina Super 6 Door
Owned by Lester Smout of telford for two years. This vehicle was originally a four door Cortina Super but now with the addition of two extra doors has become an ultimate limoscene. Power comes from its Ford V6 Cologne engine, coupled to an automatic transmission. The original Cortina rear axle is retained. Disc brakes and power steering are fitted to this remarkable car.

corrected the spelling - mind you the document I was copying from had a different version (limosine).

No excuses though.
