A#375 Solved: 1966 G. G. Domanskij's "Stela"
« on: June 16, 2010, 04:48:05 AM »
Another one mystery open for all.

1 point for a correct name of this car
1 point for telling what's quite special about it . Answer: the car has a bodywork made of cardboard.
1 point for ID of the engine.

Good luck!

Really not. The feature I mean is not SO special, but is quite interesting.

It's hard to tell, but I think it doesn't. However, it's not what I'm after.

It is self-built, but there's nothing about being "the first " or something.

Is it about its materials or construction?
Like the 1st car build with recycled materials or with pieces of different nature...

Very well!

Like the 1st car build with recycled materials or with pieces of different nature...

... but this vehicle has nothing what can be said "being first", I suppose. The 2nd question is simple just like the answer. But I am going to give a point for it. :)

Not plastic, but you're on a very good track with this guess.

Perhaps the body is wood.

It's the best guess yet, but still not correct.

Is the ID of the engine the gentleman sitting in the car (i.e. it is pedal powered?) and is the bodywork fabric?
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

No, it is engine-powered, so you have to tell what engine did it use. Question about bodywork is locked for this moment. I haven't asked about the builder who is, I am almost sure, the man behind the steering wheel. It would be worth additional 2 points, but...

That's correct! This car has a bodywork made of carboard! The first point is gone :)
