Uzbekistan?

Bravo!! One point goes for You. This car is named after the country - Uzbekistan. The hardest part left is to say who build it.

Za Ruljem had a column in the 1980s on home-made cars. Almost each issue contained one or two. I've seen on-line a scanned article with two dozen such cars. I may  post some of them. What I am trying to get at that it will be utterly difficult to track down the builder...

Yes, You right about ZR, but they featured only several better-known self-built cars during in the issues of 1980s... This one comes from another magazine, but indeed from early 1980s... and I have found it only in that one particular magazine...

This means I am opening this for everyone offering two points for naming the builder.

The second part is almost unsolvable, I think, so I'll leave it for one more week before revealing its builder and several more insignificant details...

I have totally forgotten this one  :(

The car has been built by Nasir Rashidovich Rashidov (Насыр Рашидович Рашидов) from Uzbekistan together with his son. ZAZ chassis and motorcycle (Dnepr) engine have been used.

Honey I shrunk the Fiat 132 (and screwed up the styling while I was about it!)  :-\
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.
