Well off course it is. point is yours

Conceived for a possible production in small series, the Scarabeo was introduced in Paris in 1966. It climbed on the transversal motor of the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA, systematized among the two seats. The body was in material plastic climbed on a tubular chassis for a total weight of around 700 Kgs. A total were built of three samples, two coupe and a spider.
The second coupe it slightly differed in the body.

Does anybody have more Info on this car?

Is it still around or did it get re-bodied for one of the other cars ( which do not look nearly as good, IMO )

Who was the designer that drew it?

What was some of his other work?

...etc...

I absolutely love this car.

Its lines have been haunting me since I was a kid...

OSI took over some chassis from Alfa Romeo where Giuseppe Busso and Orazio Satta where resposible for all the designs at that time.
I think they almost took over most of their ideas and made it into this concept.
So I think it is problebly their design. I also red an article who mentioned a Busso's prototype was problebly used and turned into the OSI Scarabeo Spider version.

Some more pictures
