Yes! it is a VW based built by swiss coachbuilder Manfred Bauer.
The name Betlle doesn't ring any bells though,I know it only by just ''the Bauer''
but do tell me something I don't know yet.
Oh and tell me when he built this.

Sorry but I had not read all your questions, this VW beetle the Bauer as you said was built by the Swiss coacbuilder Manfred Bauer in 1960 and my source says that only one was built.  ;)

Manfred Bauer wasn't Swiss, but German from Wülfrath. The car had the German registration D-ET 55.
