Who is this person, and what car can she be associated with?

Art and cars. Painters, writers, musicians, actors, movie makers: in a nutshell, artists. Cars of special importance in their work, or in their life.

Cool ... sweet video, too.

Years ago ... and it may still be on the air, I don't know ... a Classic Country show that was aired in Chicagoland on Sunday mornings (I used to listen to it as I drove to church) had a unique opening ... a montage of sorts of different "classic" clips.  The first clip was THIS Dinah Shore commercial, just the opening of the commercial though:
"See the USA in your Chevrolet, America is asking you..."

THEN ... the next clip that was played in the opening montage began:
"And here's the pitch by Downing....."

Remember THAT one??? :)

No.  :(

My fondest baseball memories were the '68 and '84 tigers seasons.

Oh....I thought some might.  That was the call by one of the baseball announcers the night that Hank Aaron broke the HR record:
Atlanta GA ... April 8, 1974, a crowd of 53,775 people showed up for the game — a Braves attendance record. In the 4th inning, Aaron hit career home run number 715 off L.A. Dodgers pitcher Al Downing.

Ah, yes.  I remember that '84 team well.  It should've been a rematch of the 1945 World Series, but of course not.  My fondest memories ... Cubs seasons 1984, 1989, 1998, 2003, etc........

*sighs*
