Does anybody know more about this unique mini-car?

Allemano

I don't know why, but I doubt that it actually was called "Recklinghausen". I guess it's probably a translation error. Maybe it was built in or near Recklinghausen and the builder's name has been forgotten over the years.. Might be one of the countless 'Eigenbauten' of that era.

I found this picture for sale, stating the car was called "Wiesel" (weasel).

And a 1950 magazine snippet also tells us about the Wiesel from Recklinghausen. I'll change the title.
