I agree with JR - that's either a Pinto Pangra front clip, or a low quality knock-off, with fixed headlamps in place of the flip-up units on the original.

I fear I don't know the back story of this car, but Pangra is not the name I have for it. And it does look a little different

The other name that can be associated to a Pangra kit it's Bobcat, but you said this is a Pinto! Pangra kits were installed on Pinto and Bobcat sedans and wagons, and this one really looks like a Pangra!

I agree that the Pangra looks very similar but I repeat, the name I have for this car is different. I suspect it may even be a modern-day knock-off...

To me this one looks like a Fazer GT, a Pinto/Bobcat modifcation made bt Fazer Loc of Santa Fe Srings in the mid-1980s.

Aha! That's so close to the name I have that it I think it must be the same thing. Before I reveal the identity that I have, could you furnish any evidence of the name you quote, my good sir?

Gosh, so close and yet so far.  The only name I have is the Fazer GT by Fazer Loc of Santa Fe Springs.  I have three different sources of information, and they all call it by the same name.  Could it be the Fazer GT Wagon?

Hmmm. Well, that's still not quite it.  :'( I'm inclined to keep the puzzle open and see if the clues give anyone a clue...

It's the Phaser (Phazer?), from Advanced Vehicle Technology.

Oy - the Pinto videos I had to endure to find this one... ^-^

I still say they made a splash mold of a Pangra. The blue coupe in the video is only slightly less ghastly.

If I am correct, please give the point to Quiller. Without his guidance, I wouldn't have come close.

I've given you the point. If we start awarding ourselves puzzle points, some amusing situations might arise  ;)

I've just had a glass of wine and I'm feeling generous. Djetset - your Fazer has earned you a point too  :joker:
