Are these Porsche wheels?
Maybe 914 based?
-
Evex 1
-
Yes, indeed. Thought that'd last a bit longer, actually!

Any more infos available?

"Egon Evertz, the enthusiastic amateur Porsche racing driver from Solingen, wanted to produce individual cars to represent the ultimate in driving experiences. With a team of specialists to carry out his ideas, he had Porsche customers in mind, but the first car he made was a two-plus-two VW-based sportscar called 'Evex 1'.
The plastic coupé was built on Volkswagen chassis and running gear, including a modified 2-litre engine which produced 120 bhp. It was 155½ in (3,950 mm) in length, 45 in (1,120 mm) high and weighed 1,765 lb (800 kg), the top speed being 125 mph (200 km/h).
Despite Evertz' optimism, 'Evex 1' never got beyond prototype form (...) Egon Evertz did not manage to join the ranks of recognized car improvers."
I've got a rear view picture as well. I'll see if I can get around to posting it later. So, this one was not Porsche based, but it was from the family, so to speak.

Thanks! I read somthing about Everz' tuning company, but almost nothing of this particular car. In the eighites and nineties he made some of those ugly flat nose tuning kits ala Porsche 935, but was never a well recognized manufacturer.
Would be nice if you could submit the back view of the Evex 1 which I think is — maybe only in my humble opinion — quite attractive!

I agree to Allemano: any more pictures of this ultra rarity is highly needed...
P.S. And as far as I understand it was made in only single example, yes??

I'd say that's a pretty strong indication that there was only one of these. I'm attaching the rear picture, and I must say that I'm not sure everybody would agree with Allemano that it's quite attractive... but hey, that's a matter of taste.
Oh, and one more thing: Arunas, I'm slightly amused about your use of the word "need". Maybe you should try "want" or "wish for" instead - the way you're writing, you make it sound like something really bad is going to happen if you don't get any more pictures. I hope that's not the case ;)

Thank You very much! You know, not everybody's English is perfectly perfect :)

Okay... let's say the rear end is not as well-shaped as the front. :-\
BTW: the design at all isn't mind-blowing, but in relation to the company's other creations it's quite okay...

I know. Mine isn't, either. It was just a piece of lingual advice ;)

Seems to be a recent pic. It already has an EU number plate.

Color pics!
I dare to say that I like it from every angle! (wonder if it has a boot lid at all; strange thing for a shooting brake)
