I know where these names came from...but this is not a racing car!

This car is not in that list, but there is a clue in that article, that can lead you to another, then you can use the clue I gave in these replies...

Pietroboni? => includes a common Italian surname and they built a Fiat 1500 coupe in 1947... Maybe the puzzle car is the sibling spider?

The car is not in the index of the featured cars, nor in the index of not-featured cars...BUT...if you take a look at the article, you may notice something...after you'll notice that, you may notice something wrong in what you read and then, you may use the 'name' clue.
(BTW the answer is a surname, not a name, and Pietro is a common name, but I'm talking of one of the most common in Italy, like Jones in other places...now that's really a big clue...)

According to an unverified internet source Giovanni is the most common male Italian surname....

But now I have to leave the colourful world of the WWW! I leave it to the next!  :hah:

I was going to delete my clues because now you have to ways to get to the solution...one of this is too easy! If you read back what I wrote here, You'll find why it's not Giovanni, nor Giuseppe...

What took you so long?
You are, as usual, correct!
@Allemano, try to google "most common surname in Italy", You'll see that Mario Rossi is like John Doe. In my article, you may notice that after Romanazzi and before Ruspa there is a Roar entry with no pictures. That is the place I left for this and as you can see it is not in alphabetical order!
Now I can fix that!

I'm afraid 'Rossi' alone wouldn't be enough as well...

As I left my PC  at 15:30 I hadn't sufficiant time to get through the complete list of the 'Italian coachbuilders' topic.
I don't know if I had found it anyway!
