The base is an old pre-war Fiat 1500. The bodywork has been hand made as an hobby by Mr. Padovan in 1951, not a professional coachbuilder.

My source, an article written by the builder's sons, reports that the car was built from 1947 to 1949.

Interesting design, although very unusual. Apart from Porsche 356, I can see some minor Giulia SZ traits in the rear end. Don't even know why, but it just reminded me of that Alfa.
