True or false: Giuseppe Fornasari imported Callaway Corvettes into Italy in the early 1990's and converted them for racing use.

I did try to find out but couldn't make a connection other than that they looked awfully similar, but a bit different around the front.
Should I award another point to kocie_ruchy then?

I really don't know. I've read some info that indicates these were modified Callaways, but nothing definitive. Perhaps a somebody else here has some additional info.

ahhh how could i NOT know that one! Hopefully I will be talking to someone from Fornasari in the nearest future regarding some other topics, but i'll ask them about this fact as well :)

I used to live not that far away from their factory.
Perhaps I'll make a visit somewhere in the future.
Eventually, the first image is just a poorly photoshopped image (from Fornasari of course), so it's hard to say what it is, if not that under that gray fake body there is a Corvette C5.R, still I do remember that Fornasari Le Mans models were Callaway cars, but slightly modified. Nothing special and I don't remember if it was actually something they were doing or if it was Callaway to give them the cars that way.
