I believe the spelling of that would be "Cyclauto." Anyway, that's not it, but you're very close (right timeframe, right country).

Another one I've found several ways to spell, is it a Colombe (or possibly Columbe)?

It appears to bear the name of the town where it was built (without the final S), in the "auto belt' of the near suburbs of Paris. Although a densely populated area, you can see that there were possibly no more tha 15 telephone lines in the whole city.
