Yes it's a Mini, but a Mini with a difference.  For a point can you explain exactly what this Mini is and what it was used for?

Looks like something that may've been raced/used on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah.....

Can you expend on this, as you're on the right lines...

It's the car built by Richard Noble - it mimics the wheel layout of Thrust SSC to prove that in-line rear wheel steering would work.

Noble was very impressed that he managed to prove the concept very cheaply - I think it cost about £200 to put the mini together.
