Hi storekeep60, if you follow the link, you'll see that this quiz is a repost.
I'll leave it here to see if Carnut will change it with another pic, or I'll merge it with the other.

and Welcome to Autopuzzles!  ;)

I saw the link but tend not to follow it.
When trying to figure something like this out, I usually try and do my own research, ask questions, etc.

Now that I followed the link, I know.
I wasn't going in that direction with my question and research, but may have gotten there eventually. :)

Here's a rare period shot showing the original wraparound rear window design. Not sure if this is the exact car that survives today (I think there were 2 or 3 built) but this one started off with a Standard Vanguard lump

I avoid to post it here as I think it's a different car without the big V8 engine. (a nice future puzzle I hoped ;))
Great looking car!

I came across some new facts on these cars.
The car shown in reply #16 is de Joux's "Vanguard Special" loosely based on a widened TR4 chassis, while the puzzle car is De Joux's spaceframed "Holden Special" fitted with a Holden 253 V8 engine. I think Ferris De Joux didn't sell complete cars. Apparently shells from his workshop were fitted on customized chassis. Cars were assembled by the owners then.

According to that source three cars were built with this body. I don't know which one NEH 2632 is.

Here's the third one. The only with 2+2 seats. Obviousely it was modified to a pure 2-seater later.
Actually I had it stored for a future puzzle, but here it goes:
(the small guy appears to be Ferris de Joux himself)
