I have some more information about this Lloyd:
Three specimens were built, the design was by Borgward's in-house designer Roberto Hernandez, the pattern was built by Ingenieurbüro Bach & Kaiser and the body was fabricated at Bayer in Uerdingen. A series of 200 cars was planned by Borgward, but rigidity and durability problems of the polyester body led to an abrupt end of the project, as one of the cars was tested by Lloyd's experimental office and had to be scrapped after just 13,000 km.
