But before it was called the Mooneyes Streamliner, it was the “Moonliner”.  It was built by the legendary hot rodding pioneer Jocko Johnson and was originally powered by an Allison V-12.  Moon used it in a lot of magazine ads.

Actually, I think this may have been my very first point way back when.

Jacko Johnson's Allison-powered streamliner that became known as the Moonliner when Dean Moon ran it under his yellow/black Moon Eyes livery.  The red/blue was for Metz, something or other...
