The style of this car seems really weird, something southern about it though. It's RHD but I cannot imagine it being British. I go for the Latin part of Europe instead, Spain maybe?

I am trying to figure out the car it is based on. It's probably an Italian car with in-line six engine, so my guess is Fiat 527.

I think I have found it.
The chassis is Isotta Fraschini, the coachbuilder is Brianza from Milan and this beauty was shown at the 1933 Salon di Milano "con i pannelli dell'abitacolo decorati con intarsi in stile giapponese".
I have found a pic of the side-view of this car on-line which reinforces my guess:
