Art and Cars - 24 April - Solved! Kent McCord / AMC Matador
« on: April 24, 2009, 05:42:58 AM »
Who is this person, and what car can he be associated with?

Art and cars. Painters, writers, musicians, actors, movie makers: in a nutshell, artists. Cars of special importance in their work, or in their life.

I must say I haven't the faintest idea, but there is a singer named Steve Taylor (no idea who he is either) who was born in 1957 in Brawley, California.
Besides "Bloxham's Shoe Store", which leads nowhere, some of those boys have shirts lettered "Brawley (or Crawley) Toy Store".
Is he the guy?

No sir.

Of all the artist/car puzzles, this fellow may be the most readily associated with a specific car (or two).

Sort of. This person actually played baseball on this team (versus acting as a baseball player in a movie, play or TV show).

He is a relatively well known actor.

Here's a clue. Sound familiar?

Kent McCord.
So the car would be a 1972 AMC Matador Police Cruiser.
