While Reality may be right, that car is wrong. Even taken in context of the 80's Nissan design paradigm, an Aztek involved in rollover is prettier. Yeah, I said it. Prettier.

This car was the result of the work of two different teams, one starting from the back and the other starting from the front. When they met in the middle they realized that they were working on two different projects. The name stands for AD2= Avanti Dietro 2 (Front Back 2 teams).

I keep asking myself if that's true. I know it's not (is it?) but it sure would go a long way to explain this car.

It's true! Also the story of the car in the background is weird. It was developed in the sixties by a group of young people, they spent all days drinking and smoking funny things and the project came a bit ..blurried.

Yikes.

What is scary ... that front end ... particularly the shape of the headlights and the shape of the nose around those headlights ... reminds me of some '80s Buicks and Oldsmobiles ... I'm thinking like the Buick Skylark ... but, I can't remember for sure.....
