It´s a Fiat electric van by Frua?

Ray B.

I know it's by Pietro Frua indeed.
Possibly electric, but there is no certainty. It is also said to predate the Fiat Multipla, but this is purely an hypothesis.
So you've got the point, and another if you can bring proof of any of this. Locked for you 72 hours.

"At the backside of the photo."Batterie intercambiabile su carrurole"(Batteries interchangeable on cart/wheelbarrow)... A prewar electric minivan ! Second line: >7 posti a sedere< = (car is for 7 persons) Yet another seven seater concept that preceedes Espace and Voyager with five decades... ! last line: >Vedere se possibile abbassarla. < (in this case means): please evaluate the possibility to lower it (to reduce its height) probably the car is too much tall)"

I only found that :-\

You obviously have the same source as I, and no other informations (nothing proves any Fiat connection, by the way). Still, it's worth one point.

I had it too listed as a Frua electric vehicle, but then I found this....
and the car is probably designed by Frua, but for sure it was made by...................

If it's a pre war car it should be Stab. Farina as he was a free lancer at that studio back then

Moretti?
Exactly.
Moretti build some electric vehicles under the SAMEM (Società Anonima Motocarri Elettrici Moretti) name and this is one of his projects.
Probably the note behind the picture was a suggestion asked (or given by) Frua for a revised version.
The puzzle's one should be the 5-passenger and mine the 7-passenger.

In a book about Moretti there is mentioned:

1944 (but I don't know if both cars were made in that year)
Autoveicolo elettrico 5 o 7 posti
Autonomia 100 km
Volocita 50 km/h

Paul Jaray

That is what is written in my picture, this car is indeed a Moretti, built by SAMEM and your book is another prove.
