I didn't find it in the lesser known brands. Could it be a "common" Stanley?

Not a Stanley, but certainly well-known among the steamer brands.

Could it be a Brooks?
Georgano says they were all saloons except a prototype tourer in 1923, and this looks earlier than that, so probably not.
