Correct in every detail.

I thank you for the point, but I felt unsure, when I posted my answer to you.
It is a Rational 10 HP for sure, but most of the sources say 'Heatley-Gresham Engineering Co. Ltd.', Royston (Hertfordshire) is the manufacturer...
Is 'Ralph E. Sanders & Sons', Hitchin, Hertfortshire, UK, only the coachbuilder?

This puzzle car is mentioned in the Beaulieu Encyclopedia as just one bodied by Sanders. Other coachbuilders were used. Heatley-Gresham were definitely the manufacturers.

Yes Heatly Gresham of Royston, which in 1904 became the first industrial concern in Letchworth Garden City, made the Rational cars.
Ralph E Sanders & Sons of Hitchin was indeed a coachbuilder and built bodies for Rational Taxicabs as well as normal cars.

Small world comment: I knew a Robert Sanders  who was a member of that family at school and met James Gresham, grandson of the founder, when he gave a talk to the VCC on contemporary racing tyres.
Opinionated but sometimes wrong
