No, but Austria is the country we are looking for

Allemano

Yes, this vehicle was designed and built by Werner Hölbl. Surprising, isn't it?

Now, what's this and what was its purpose?

It's the revolutionary van he did 1970 in cooperation with Willy Pilz, isn't it? It should be presented by Jochen Rindt in 1970 on his Vienna Auto fair, but unfortunately his fatal accident made it impossible.

Yes, this was created together with Mr Pilz in 1971. But I need the precise name of this vehicle to award you a point. There is a description of this van online, that's where I sourced this picture from.

That's the Cityload 2000

I did not lock this for Allemano! Silly me. Anyhow, both of you get a point each :)

Yes, this is the Cityload 2000, developed for the the A Berghofer "technical department store"  in Wien by Werner Hölbl in 1971, based on a Fiat 238.

No need to give me a point. Allemano did all the hard work.  :)

A typical case of posting on ones own risk. You gave the complete answer, so, there's no need to be too modest... ;)
