They look like Austin 1100 tail lights so I am guessing a british built car?

I would also say it is a relatively modern photo converted to black and white... Lens flare is a bit of a clue.

Bentley R-Type Coupe chassis B772X is correct!

'This special fastback two-seater coupe was built to the special order of the late Robert (Bob) Gooda, and one time was jointly owned by Racer Brian Dumps. Brian had raced the car at a BDC Silverstone in 1967.

This 1954 Bentley R-Type Coupe Chassis # B77ZX is well known and featured in the Bentley Book Fifty years of the Marque by Johnnie Greene. The car has been fully restored within the last 2 years and just recently completed the Colordao Grand 1000 mile tour. The car runs excellent and needs nothing. The vehicle was shown at this years 2008 Quail Lodge Concours during the Monterey Classic car events on August 15,2008.

This vehicle has been recently tuned and restored. It was finished in British Racing Green and striped to give a bold look when rallying around corners and on the track. A few unique touches have been added including a louvered hood, painted Radiator Shell, Custom Built wheels, and attractive racing vents up front and at the rear. The vehicle runs very strong and holds the road like a sports car. Since the Colorado Grand the car has been used sparingly and only taken on a special runs and events. Most recently just after the Quail Show on the 15th of August we drove the car around Pebble Beach and the Monterey Peninsula. We received more attention in this vehicle then some of our more Prestigious, more expensive cars in the collection. This is a one-off Special order Bentley that can be raced, shown or toured'
