Author Topic: Make the Connection #1 Solved - No. 201 (Read 2400 times)

There is a connection between these 5 cars, 2 points to the Autopuzzler who can correctly tell me what the connection is.

No points for guessing the cars on their own, they are pretty easy! To win the 2 points I need the names of all 5 cars and what it is that connects them and why.

I don't think this is too difficult (but it's always easy when you know the answer). It's not something totally obvious like 'They all have 4 wheels'

I might be wrong but I don't think the makers of #3 and #5 have ever won a GP.

Yes and no, this is much harder than I had originally thought, the connection is about the cars names in some cases and the specifications in other cases.

Another clue, this vehicle also shares the connection.

All apart from Connect5 are RWD! The connection is something that isn't shared by many other cars, it took me a while to find the recent clue.

No, completely the wrong path I'm afraid, the specific cars themselves all share the connection, for example the Mercedes 190 shares the connection, A Mercedes 300, or a 600, or pretty much any other Mercedes doesn't (Hope this sort of makes sense).

Another clue, this also shares the connection.

That´s weird! The Diamond T is the Model 201.The Peugeot is a 201,the Plymouth "201 ci,flathead six cylinder engine"....
The Ferrari F40 reachs a speed of 201 mph....The Mercedes-Benz W201 was the last incarnation of the Mercedes-Benz 190 so the connection is the number 201???
