I have no info on the Sherratts.

So that's only the car if the original owner/builder sold it.

Do you know his name?

I did a quick check.
You are right.

It is the same car.

Shouldn't be hard for you to find the other name... :)
And one of the types of competition it was raced in.

I'll give you 2 days to find it.

It was in the very first car magazine I bought, Street Machine in 1983, I'm sure I still have it somewhere, and yes it did win their Rover V8 drag race series, from memory it ran 11 second quarters, quite impressive for a hillclimb car.
