There seems to be a large bulkhead behind the driver - is the engine back behind it?

Reminds far of the Lancia "Tank" designs of Stab. Farina...

Nel 1958 si trasferì per alcuni anni a San Paolo del Brasile, ( This is new to me ) dove conseguì la laurea in ingegneria meccanica e lavorò presso l'industria automobilistica Willys do Brasil.

Very good João, indeed!

 :applause:

This car used hydropneumatic steering and suspensions eight years before the Citroen DS.

Very good João, indeed!
and thank you too gm, this is very interesting - but i think it needs to be said;  Citroen also used hydropneumatic suspensions some years before the DS.

Yes indeed, the 1953 Citroën 15 Six H (H=Hydropneumatique) had such suspension on the rear wheels. And Panhard started in 1951 production of an armored vehicle with 8-wheel drive, of which the four central (steel) wheels had hydropneumatic suspension: in heavy terrain you let them down, on the road you could lift them, so the tank could reach a top speed of 100 km/h.
