Are you referring to it being called the Lucas-Chloride Griffon? I have seen that name in one place. All others are calling it the XREV.

As far as I know this car doesn't have a name. It is just refered to as the Lucas Chloride hybrid car, as it was an experimental prototype, which was never produced in a secon unit. That's what is written in a engineering book about hybrids and other alternative mobility solutions. If you want, I can post some technical data about it.
Built right after the Bedford based Griffon, it used the same drive train, and a Reliant 0,8 liter ICE.

I've come across the same the document. The name I've found for it indeed isn't mentioned there. With the Reliant engine, I also very much doubt if the car would be able to live up to it's (nick?)name!

I suppose you're referring to the "Chloride Silent Power", which is the name of one of the subsidiaries created during the eighties under the main Lucas-Chloride umbrella.

Has anyone suggested 'Ogle Lucas Hybrid Car' yet? That's what it was called on a postcard that was issued about this 1982 Lucas Chloride/Reliant-powered concept car.

I suppose so too, but nevertheless I found 2 places on the web that gave this car an additional name. Chances are that it's not an official one. The name you gave in your previous post was very close (in meaning) to the name I found.
