Since it's clearly 2CV based, I cheated and looked up the number plate on the DVLA database.

It is definitely based on a 2CV, using the 602CC aircooled engine, originally registered in 1977, its road tax runs out on 1/6/2010.

And it's supposed to be blue!

Probably a one-off, because I've not seen anything like it in the kit car magazines.

oops... that is a repost of a puzzle that has already been solved (I posted the same pic twice!)  - I will change it tomorrow night for something else.

Sorry about that.

Still 2CV based..... is it a Falcon?

gilescooperuk

Well I thought I would keep it on the same theme....

But you are correct is it is a Falcon 'S' - I will post more details about the car when I get home tonight...

Did they make many 4-wheeled ones?

They became most famous/notorious for the three-wheel version.

here is the information panel off the windscreen of the car.

It mentions a write up in Which kit in 1999 - i might have that issue somewhere!

Not sure about the production numbers as it isn't a model I am that familiar with just saw the car and decided to take a picture of it....
